Digital Divinations

Note: this bot is still under development and is made available to limited people and limited servers under the discretion of the developer.

Single Commands:

the following commands are single commands with no other related commands and do not require any special Discord permissions to use.

• ping
  • Description: Bot responds with message containing the word "Pong". Useful for testing if the bot is online and available.
  • Params: None
• fortune-cookie
  • Description: Responds with a Chinese-style fortune cookie 🥠. Complete with lucky numbers!
  • Params: None
• emojify
  • Description: Send the bot a single word or a bunch of words and it will respond with the text sent, but with emojis added to it.
  • Params:
    • words: The string of words to add emojis to.

Command Groups:

the following commands fall into specific groups, with more detail of the commands in each group. They require specific Discord permissions to use.

• emojify-manage
  • Description: Commands to manage the emojify command. Only available to users with the Manage Server permission.
  • Permissions:
    • Manage Server
  • Commands:
    • add-emoji-mapping
      • Description: Adds a new word and emojis to match it to the emojify database. If the mapping already exists, it will just add the new emojis to it. You can pass in up to 10 different emojis.
      • Params:
        • name: The word
        • emoji1-emoji10: The emojis that match the word
    • remove-emoji-mapping
      • Description: Removes a word and all the emojis that match it from the emojify database.
      • Params:
        • name: The word to remove
    • remove-single-emoji
      • Description: Removes a single emoji from the matching word.
      • Params:
        • name: The word to remove an emoji from
        • emoji: The emoji to remove
• reaction-roles
  • Description: Commands to manage reaction roles. Reaction roles send a message that users can react to in order to be added to a role. Only one message is supported per server.

  • Commands:
    • add-reaction-role-message
      • Description: Adds a message that users can react to with an emoji and get added to the roles specified. Can send up to 12 emojis. Custom emojis are supported, however, the bot must have permission to access them. Emojis with different color tones (e.g., 👍, 👏, ✊) are not supported at this time.
      • Params:
        • emoji1-12: The emoji a user can react to a message to be added to the specified role.
        • role1-12: The role that the user gets added to.
    • remove-reaction-role-message
      • Description: Removes the reaction role message.
      • Params: None
